Inspired by the fields of endless yellow and the fantastic weather, I tried some local landscape photography a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure I've spent enough time and effort on landscapes over the years and often find myself in the right place with the right light, not quite knowing what to do. Practice is always good though and it was amazing how much I learnt about technique and my various lenses and equipment in just a few evenings in fields near home.

I never quite got the combination of scene and light that I was looking for, but here are a couple of the better efforts.
